July 2014 Winners, Features, Finalists AND Honourable Mentions!

Hello again everyone & THANK YOU for your awesome participation last month!

WOW when I finally went through each & every entry on Sunday my jaw was on the floor - 

remarkable work & so many EXCELLENT ENTRIES!  I can see that we are making you

 stretch every creative muscle in your scrappy bodies!!  Keep up the great work & keep trying! 

 Competition is STIFF at SATW but that's what makes our 6 prizes that much more coveted - 

because they are GREAT PRIZES & they are HARD WON!!

We had 99 entries in July - which was GREAT considering that July is traditionally

THE SLOWEST MONTH at challenge blogs, due to the European Summer.

So even the sunshine can't keep you away any more!  AWESOME!!

 How absolutely precious is this?  And how seamlessly does the photo

 meld with the photo stack & that then into the stunning hand-painted 

background?  WOW.... This is something very special!

3rd Place - Jelissa Mei - Singapore

Jelissa is one of those people that produces constantly amazing work so if you want to see

 how it's done I suggest following her blog, 'cos this girl sure knows how to do it!  

She is a regular here on our Wall of Fame & for good reason.

Dreamy!  I absolutely LOVE this layout & I wasn't the only one!

Pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty!  I love the dandelions flying all about

the page & the feeling of lightness & freedom.  Excellent job.

Completely gorgeous page & love the vibrancy of the colours

So soft & light & LOVE that idea of the punched strips on the

 background - definitely want to try that out - what a great idea...

GREAT colours & love the design.  Not too much or too little

& such an eclectic mix!  Love the use of the maps too!!

A dramatic take on any challenge is always a sure fire way to catch the eye

Another very pretty entry full of beautiful mixed media work & resist

 techniques/products. Again perfectly balanced with a touch of black for
