When Helen broke the news to us that Scrap Around The World
was coming to an end we went through a mix of emotions &
couldn't bear the thought of no longer having SATW around!
It has been such an incredible source of creative inspiration
& encouragement each month, offering the best mood boards,
the most talented & conscientious designers & social media
ambassadors, the most consistent postings & of course
the most fantastic prizes & exposure opportunities!

SATW feels like a family to us all, & Helen is our mama bird,
finally pushing us out of the nest to spread our wings & fly on
our own! None of us, including Helen, want things to change,
but life has got in the way, & Helen has no choice but to free
herself up for her 2016 adventure of starting a new life overseas.

All of us at 'More Than Words' will be forever grateful to Helen for having
given us the opportunity to learn first hand how to successfully manage a
challenge blog. We have ALL learnt, including Helen, that the way to do it
is as a TEAM! SO 6 of us decided to create & administer a brand new

We have been advertising hectically on social media this month!!
MORE THAN WORDS was founded by 6 members of the SATW Admin Team,
in an attempt to fill the gap that the closure of SATW will undoubtedly leave
in the scrapbooking community, as well as in our hearts!

The concept behind the 'More Than Words' challenges revolves around a WORD as inspiration. We will offer 2 monthly challenges. Joining the 6 of us at 'More Than Words' are another 8 more outstanding designers, completing our team of 14.
The Main Challenge will offer a 'Creative Challenge' along with the WORD.
This challenge will be open to layouts, canvases & art journal pages & will
go live on the 1st of each month. The Mini Challenge takes place during
the last week of each month & is for cards, tags & ATC's only!
This challenge requires you to use a specific word on your project & to
enter via Facebook, starting on the 23rd of each month.
