HOW DOES SATW WORK?
As well as providing month long inspiration to our followers we hold a
MONTHLY CHALLENGE that begins at 00.00 on the last day of the previous
month & ends at 23.55 on the last day of the current month - in other words
our challenges run for the entire month, every month, except December,
when we take a break & SATW is closed for Christmas!
WE WORK ON EASTERN STANDARD TIME.
Entries are accepted by means of an Inlinkz Linky Tool located at the top of our blog
where it says LINK UP HERE. Anyone from anywhere in the world may enter
as long as you have a blog in which to load & from which to link your entry.
WHY YOU SHOULD ENTER
We feature TEN ENTRIES every month on a specially created "Wall of Fame"that remains at the top of our blog for one full month. Finalists are voted for by our Design Team
& we have ONE winner, 4 features & 5 finalists who each get a badge to display
on their blogs as well as a prize from one of our sponsors, shipped to you free of charge!
All 10 of our prize winners are rated 1 - 10 according to votes received by the design team.

We also accept art journal DOUBLE-SPREAD pages (minimum single page

of A4 size or larger, as well as Art Journal COVERS no smaller than A4 size.
We do not accept digital entries, off-the-page projects, altered items,

Our mood boards are curated for inspiration only & do not have to be followed "to a T'' - although your creations do need to be created based on them, or a part of them, even if it is only one part of one image. It is up to you! You may be inspired by the colours but you do not have to follow them. The mood board is intended to get your creative juices flowing & put you in the mood to create! Our challenges are non-restrictive & uncomplicated!!

HOW WE CAME ABOUT
Since then it has evolved, & will continue to evolve, according to our player
feedback & experience, into the IT place for scrapbookers to see & be seen!
We have a design team of 24 INTERNATIONAL ambassadors from many

Scrap Around the World is designed to BENEFIT EVERYONE. My aim is to
raise the profile of all my designers, advertise for willing scrapbook supply
manufacturers, feature & promote worthy scrapbooking artists & reward
loyalty through random prizes & our Epic Event Competition.

WHY WE CAME ABOUT
Creating & running a challenge site had been on my 'bucket list' for a couple of years
until one day I decided to "just do it!" I've gained so much from my time online
& learnt a lot, giving me the confidence to create a place for scrapbookers
to have fun, grow their skills & gain valuable on-line exposure
as well as the chance to win fantastic prizes!

Having made many great contacts over the years I had faith that sponsorships
could be garnered & that this would not only benefit the players but also
the companies providing the prizes, in the form of great advertising.
